THE SIXTH FORM CURRICULUM 2017/2018

We offer a multitude of ways in which to build on GCSE successes and specialise in curriculum areas that inspire lifelong interest, learning and careers.  In Year 12 each student is expected to study 3 academic subjects at A Level.  In addition, all students are encouraged to undertake further study to broaden and strengthen their skill set, such as: The Extended Project Qualification, meaningful work experience or additional subjects to enhance their academic portfolio.  There is an excellent range of subjects on offer in the sixth form and further details of these can be found in the prospectus.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS TO THE SIXTH FORM

As a basic entry requirement to join our sixth form, you must have achieved at least 6 GCSE subjects at A* to B including:

  • At least a C Grade in English 
  • At least a C Grade in Mathematics 
  • The specific entry requirements for each of the subjects is listed within the course guide.
