Support our NK5 Campaign

We are proud of our NKS community that includes parents, Old Ashfordians, local businesses and the wider community, who all feel passionate about what we do and wish to support us. With a heritage of nearly 400 years we celebrate our history but we are ambitious and committed to continuing to deliver a world-class education in the future. At the heart is our commitment to excellence for all our students and for the wider community to which they belong. As an Academy Trust we are entitled to government funding but to ensure we have 21st Century facilities and can offer the broadest curriculum we need additional support. We hope that you, along with many other members of the NKS community, will want to be involved in helping us with our ambitious NK5 Campaign.

Our focus: NK5 Appeal Phase 3

Our future vision includes building a new Creative Arts Hub that will transform the learning experience of all our students in the areas of Computing, Music, Art, and Design and Technology. We aim to achieve this vision within the next two years.

The NKS community needs to raise £300,000 before we can apply for this funding. Please help us to achieve this.

NK5 Appeal Phase 1 & 2 successes:

Phase 1 of our Premises Development Plan saw the Main Block transformed and the pipe work and radiators in the older parts original part of the school building replaced, creating a sustainable, energy-efficient and modern learning facility. Phase 2 will start in the autumn of 2016, following our successful bid for government funding. This work will improve thermos-efficiencies, ventilation and temperature control in the building and complete the transformation of the older parts of the school.
