Leaving a gift in your will

We have a unique history going back nearly 400 years and this is a vital part of the school’s identity as well as a source of inspiration and pride. We are privileged to still have a member of the Knatchbull family on our Board of Governors. Looking to the future we have ambitious aims and aspirations, which will ensure The Norton Knatchbull School continues to have a first-class reputation.

By inviting you to remember the School in your Will we are asking you to contribute to the School’s history. A legacy is one of the most important ways in which you can help – just as so many have over the centuries.

How can your gift make a difference?

We recognise that leaving a gift in your Will is a very personal matter and that first and foremost you will want to provide for your family and loved ones. Having done this, we hope that you might also consider including a legacy in favour of The Norton Knatchbull School. A legacy recognises the part the School has played in your life and the role your bequest can play in its future. All bequests, of whatever size, will benefit the School and its current and future students. A legacy can help to create a new teaching space or provide extra-curricular activities, or contribute to the upkeep of our facilities and resources.

“I view my legacy pledge as the best way for me to help secure the future of the school that I am confident to invest in because of the impact it will have on young people’s lives in the future. I would urge others who valued their time at School to do the same.” (Legacy Pledger)
