Panto 2018

This year's Pantomine was Dick Whittington, written and directed by Louis Miller in Year 13 with an enthusiastic and dynamic cast drawn from Year 7 and Year 8, who gave the most stirring evening performances on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th December.  They also gave a matinee performance on the Wednesday to 120 Year 6 pupils from Willesborough Primary School, who loved it.  Teachers from the school said it was one of the finest Panto performances they had seen at the school.  If you were not there, you missed something special...Oh yes you...etc!

Huge congratulations must go to our talented team, drawn from Years 7, 8, 9, 12 and 13, of actors, stage managers, lighting and followspot operators, sound engineers, set designers and builders, props and poster makers, musicians and not forgetting the terrific tech team who ran backstage.  All helped to make it such a memorable event. Many thanks to Mrs Rowland, Mrs Neale and Miss Quaife who organised the set, Mrs Shellock-Wells who got everyone into costume and face paint , Mrs Burton and Mrs Eldridge who ran the box office and and Mr Found who fetched us fish and chips!

If you came and watched, thank you too.  The audiences really joined in in true Panto style.

Plans for the next one are already underway.  We hope to see even more of you there next year.

6th form and potential 6th form (that means you current Year 11), we need you.  If you would like to be involved in next year's extravaganza, come and see me.
